Before creating a program that has helped thousands of adultsaround the world learn to read, Ruth Colvin was a golfer. In 1950, Ruth founded the Dubbers Golf Group for women at Drumlins Country Club. Now at 106 years old, Ruth still spends her summer playing 9 holes each week as she continues to attend meetings and support LiteracyCNY.
