Dr. Kristina Boerger (Augsburg University, The Rose Ensemble, Pomerium and more) will join us in an intensive four-day workshop where we will learn the nuances of beautiful, self-directed music-making in a small ensemble format. From Thursday to Saturday July 25th-27th, we will learn several "big hits" from the 16th century by several well-known Renaissance composers: Josquin, Byrd, Victoria, and Lasso. On Sunday July 28th, we will perform our pieces at Grace Episcopal Church in Syracuse (819 Madison St, Syracuse, NY 13210) in a free, casual recital format.
Registration is open now through July 15th (short audition required); however, the $225 early bird rate ends on June 24th. Please note: the audition and registration process is virtual, via email; the workshop itself is fully in-person.
